For the Barcolana 2024 project, I chose to develop a poster with an elegant style, using a colour palette composed of different shades of blue and light blue. This choice aims to evoke the essence of the sea and the deep bond that the city of Trieste has with its sailing tradition.The central illustration represents a sailboat with clean and minimal lines, reflected on calm water, a symbol of serenity and majesty. The sober and balanced layout emphasises the number of the edition, ‘B65’, to underline the historical importance of the event, while maintaining a strong readability and visual impact.The aim was to create a visual communication capable of reflecting both the tradition of the Barcolana and its modernity, thus attracting a diverse and design-loving audience.
